The Property

We were asked to clean and restore this Block Paved Driveway and Patio in the quiet village of Brandesburton, East Yorkshire.

The Drive was a mixture of block paving and Concrete, with a small block-paved patio to the side leading to a path that went around the whole of the building.

Block Paving Condition

Like most block paving driveways, the blocks have become very dark, they were covered in Moss and Lichen

Although the driveway was in good condition, the area had begun to sink toward the house instead of the drain.

Pressure wash

Firstly, We cleaned all of the edges and those hard-to-reach areas and removed any moss and weeds from the block paving.

Surface Clean

Next, we cleaned the entire block paving area with the surface cleaner. This gives a deep and uniform clean and removes large amounts of dirt and grime from the Driveway and Patio.

Rinse Down

After the Surface clean, the block paving was given a full rinse down to stop any dirt from settling back into the block paved areas.

Chemical Application

Following the Surface cleaning, The area was given a chemical application, which was left to work for 30 minutes, to kill off the remaining organic growth on the Block Paving. Giving that Ultimate clean appearance

Re-Sand

Once the Block Paving had dried, Kiln dried sand was brushed back into the joints to replace any sand that had been lost during the cleaning process.

The finished result made a big difference to the appearance of the Block Paving in Brandesburton.
Years of grime have been removed and the whole Driveway and Patio appears brighter.
